Cotton Kesa Paat is a blended handloom fabric made by weaving cotton threads with Kesa Paat (raw, untreated mulberry silk). It is commonly used to create lightweight, breathable traditional Assamese attire that's as unique as beautiful. Hand Woven on the traditional Assamese handloom popularly known as a Maati Xaal in Assam. This Mekhela Sador comes with a subtle Dhoop - Chav colour combination of a beautiful Olive Greenish colour with hints of Brown and Pink..it looks regal and very easy elegant.
It consists of a bottom wrap (Mekhela), a top drape (Sador), and a matching blouse piece.

Material Composition: Uses cotton for the warp or base structure and raw mulberry silk yarn for texture or design work.
Texture & Feel: Softer and cooler than pure heavy silk, making it comfortable for warm weather while retaining a subtle silk-like sheen.
Appearance: Features traditional hand-woven local motifs (buta) and decorative borders (pari).
Ready to wear : The Mekhela is stitched and the Sador has all the borders stitched as well.
