Daily Use:

• Avoid Overloading: Reed Grass is sturdy but has natural flexibility. Don’t overfill the bag, as it can distort the shape or cause strain on the handles.

• Keep Dry: While Reed Grass is naturally durable, please avoid exposing your bag to rain or damp environments. If they get wet, you can sun dry in shade for 30 mins or so.

• Gentle Handling: Avoid rough surfaces and snagging to prevent fraying or cracking of the woven material.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

• Dusting your bag: Use a soft, dry cloth or a small, gentle brush to remove dust and debris.

• Spot Clean Only: For stains, use a lightly dampened cloth with mild soap. Do not soak or submerge the bag. You can also use a soft bristles toothbrush to wash off dirt on the embroidered patterns. Ensure you brush clean gently along the strokes of the thread work followed by sun drying in shade.

• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach, alcohol-based cleaners, or abrasive scrubbers.

Storage:

• Keep in a Cool, Dry Place: Store your handbag in a breathable dust bag or cotton pillowcase.

• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure can cause fading or brittleness over time. However, if you live in a region which is damp or too humid, we recommend sun bathing your bag in shade once in a while when not in use.
